Florence Adá Camille is a composer specialized in orchestral film music.
She was born in Berlin and completed her Audio/Multi Media Arts studies at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. She also studied composition at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo in Porto and specialized in music production during a stay abroad in Ireland.
Florence's passion is orchestral film music. Her motivation in film music is to revive and continue the orchestral music in films. She has acquired extensive skills in orchestral score writing in Portugal as well as through self-study. For her compositions she uses relevant music production programs such as Logic and the notation program Finale.
The young composer has a wide range of musical interests and is at home in various genres. In her childhood and youth she enjoyed piano lessons and sang in the choir of the Berlin State Opera.
Her exposure to different musical genres is reflected in her compositions. Early on, she developed an interest in the musical accompaniment of films where she sees a lot of room to explore different music styles and genres.
But also the musical accompaniment of stage events is part of her artistic work.
In 2018, Florence Adá Camille took over composition and production for the soundtrack of the label Prachstück-Swimwear at the ITB (Internationale Tourismus Börse) in Berlin. This was followed by other music productions in the show and advertising sector. In the same year she assisted the composition director of the acrobatic show Australian Outback Spectacular in Australia. There she worked together with composers Basil Hogios and Mark Watson.
In the years that followed, she wrote further compositions for stage productions and short films, each of which was presented in Germany and Austria.
She also works on various music projects with artists in Germany and abroad. Florence Adá Camille lives and works in Germany.
